About us. The Ugly Mugling sells hand-painted stoneware made in Khurja, India, through this website, operated from Bengaluru, India.

Products. Every piece is painted by hand. Colours, brushstrokes, and small details vary from piece to piece and from product photographs — this is inherent to handmade goods and is not a defect. Product images are as accurate as screens allow.

Pricing and payment. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is accepted via UPI, cards, netbanking, and wallets (processed by Razorpay), and Cash on Delivery where available. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if an order was placed at a clearly erroneous price, we will contact you before proceeding or cancel and refund it in full.

Orders. An order is accepted when you receive our order confirmation email. We may cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues any amount paid will be refunded in full.

Preorders. Preorder items are made after you order and require full payment at checkout. Timelines communicated for preorders are estimates. We will keep you informed using the contact details on your order. You may cancel for a full refund any time before dispatch.

Shipping and returns. Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.

Product care and use. Our tableware is fired with food-safe glaze and is dishwasher and microwave safe when used normally. damage arising from misuse (e.g., thermal shock, abrasive scouring) is not covered.

Intellectual property. All content on this website designs, text, photographs, the Maglu character, and branding — belongs to The Ugly Mugling and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction.
